Online Session ( Text Book )

RADCO’s MTB Instruction Coaches Training program is designed to help coaches teach mountain biking safely, confidently, and effectively. It focuses on rider-centered instruction, clear communication, progressive skill development, and adapting teaching to riders of all ages and abilities.

Throughout this program, you will explore the core components of effective MTB instruction from understanding different types of learners to evaluating rider skills, teaching foundational techniques, and guiding students safely through skill development. The goal is to equip you with a toolkit of strategies and approaches you can apply in any teaching situation, whether you are working with beginners, youth, recreational riders, or developing athletes.

Takes approximately 12 to 14hrs to complete.

*Additional cost maybe applied if not completed within 12 days of registering

Practical Session - 1 Full Day required

Get ready for an awesome day on the trails! Our Mountain Bike Certification runs rain or shine, so be sure to dress for the weather. Please make sure your bike is in good working condition before arriving. Don't forget your helmet. 

Many use their phones, but don't hesitate to bring paper and pencil/pen for notes and lesson plans

Expect an email a few days prior to the event to list your assigned partner and lesson plan topics

Bring your own lunch and snacks to keep your energy up we’ll have water available if needed.
