The described event will be a full-day BASH! Jump N Drops Clinic organized by RADCO MTB, specifically designed for BADASS women and girls to improve their mountain biking skills. Here's an overview of the event:

Event Highlights:

  • Focus: Teaching both the theory and practical skills required for jumps and drops in mountain biking, aiming to build confidence and control.

  • Instruction: Conducted by multiple RADCO professional instructors, ensuring safety and professional progression. Jumps - Learning from table tops through progression using a variety of increasingly higher ramps and jumping over increasingly longer gaps. Drops - Learning how navigate drops (up to 24") at variable speeds and techniques.

  • Location: Private trails at Woodnewton, which are customized for this clinic.

  • Participants: Limited to 25 riders to maintain a focused learning environment.

    1. Skill Stations: The activity is divided into multiple skill stations. Each station focuses on a specific skill or technique, allowing riders to practice and improve in a targeted manner.

    2. Smaller Groups: To further enhance the learning experience, participants are divided into even smaller groups. This allows for more personalized feedback and guidance from instructors.

    3. Rotating Stations: Participants rotate through the different skill (Jumps and Drops) stations. The rotation schedule is tailored based on the skill level of the riders and the number of participants. This ensures that everyone gets to practice a variety of skills without overcrowding any single station.

  • Skill Level: Likely aimed at intermediate riders with some prior experience, as RADCO typically emphasizes progression-based learning.

Schedule:

  1. Morning Session: Theory followed by practical skill-building exercises.

  2. Lunch Break: A healthy meal provided by Slabtown Cider Co.

  3. Afternoon Session: More theory followed by practical skill-building exercises. Once all skills have been taught, we hit the private custom trails of Woodnewton, Uxbridge. ( Possible group divisions based on skill levels. )

  4. Wrap Up: Swag and Prizes. T shirts for all Riders registered prior to April 16th

Additional Details:

  • Riders may need to bring appropriate gear (e.g., flat pedals, protective equipment).

  • The clinic emphasizes building foundational skills like body positioning, flow, and consistency while fostering a fun and empowering atmosphere.

This event is part of RADCO's broader mission to create inclusive and professional learning experiences for mountain bikers of all levels
